Decadent and creamy chocolate dessert, easy to make with under 5 ingredients!
Rich Chocolate Tarte
Recipe Intro Indulge yourself in this rich and decadent chocolate tart. You won’t believe how easy it is to make!
Ingredients Base 1 sheet of ready made short crust pastry (or make your own!) Filling 150g (1 block) of dairy free dark chocolate cut into squares 1 cup of full fat coconut milk (white hard part mostly) 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method Part 1 Buy ready made short crust pastry and cook in the oven according to packet instructions, make sure you make tiny holes with a fork to stop the pastry from rising whilst cooking
Method Part 2 Add coconut milk, cinnamon, to a small pan, and whisk together, and heat over a low heat, until its hot to the touch and you can see steam coming off the milk.
Method Part 3 Place the chocolate pieces in a heat proof bowl
Method Part 4 Pour the mixture over the chocolate, leave it for a minute, then stir and add the vanilla extract.
Method Part 5 Pour the mixture in the cooked pastry, let chill in the fridge for 2 hours minimum.
Method Part 6 Sprinkle icing sugar on top via a sieve before serving
